The guides here are ordered the way the actual task usually goes: decide whether a source is trustworthy and get the file onto your phone safely first, confirm the specific file you downloaded is clean second, deal with anything that goes wrong during the install itself third, and only then worry about what the app does once it’s running — ads, trackers, or anything else that shows up after install rather than before it. How many of them you need depends on where you’re starting from. Installing your first APK from outside the Play Store, you probably want the source, scan, and install guides in sequence. And we don’t maintain a general Android troubleshooting archive — every guide in this category exists because it supports the specific task of getting an app onto your phone safely and keeping it well-behaved once it’s there, not because it’s a common search term.
